Valus nominated 2005 ENnie Award for Best Campaign Setting and Best Writing

Award to be presented at Gen Con Indy, August 20, 2005, Indianapolis, IN

July 16, 2005

Valus has been selected by En World, www.enworld.org,  as a nominee for the Best Campaign Setting the Best Writing awards for their 2005 Gen Con EN World RPG Awards, otherwise known as the "ENnies".

Valus, subtitled A Fantasy Role-Playing World Sourcebook, is written by Ryan Smalley, and is published by Different Worlds Publications, www.diffworlds.com. The book was first released August, 2004 at Gen Con Indy. The book features integrated fiction by the author, who is also known as Destan, a popular contributor to EN World Story Hour.

First created in 2001, the ENies are an annual fan-based celebration of excellence in tabletop roleplaying gaming. Giving game designers, writers and artists the recognition they deserve, the ENnies are a peoples' choice award, and the final winners are voted upon at EN World's website, www.enworld.org/ennies, by the gaming public.

The ENnies are presented at an annual awards ceremony at Gen Con Indy, the premier event for role-playing gamers. The 2005 event will held Friday, August 20, 9pm, at Crowne Plaza's Grand Hall, Indianapolis, IN.

Gen Con, www.gencon.com, claims to be the Best Four Days in Gaming. This year's Gen Con Indy is held August 18-21, 2005 in Indianapolis, Indiana at the Indiana Convention Center.
